Quality Assurance
Since Essex Orthopaedics was formed, product quality is one of our main objectives.
We are at present trading with the C E Marking and are Registered IS0 9002 and the medical devices standards.
At present every item that passes through the workshop is inspected and checked through every process the item is involved in.
A quality assurance check list is completed during the manufacturing process as shown opposite, and then stored electronically along with the official order and instruction sheets for future reference.
Before being dispatched the items are passed to our quality controller who thoroughly inspects the items, making sure the Orthosis meets the Orthotists requirements, the items are then labelled and packed securely, and are ready to be dispatched.
Returned Goods:
All returned items are assessed to determine the cause of the return and this information is then recorded as a non-compliance, this information is then separated into two areas.
Manufacturing Returns and Orthotist Returns
Manufacturing returns are remade on a Free of Charge Basis as stated in our Warranty, and are treated as priority.
Orthotist Returns are also treated as priority but these items will be charged.
Last year our percentage returns were 1.23%, a figure which we take great pride in presenting to you for your consideration. But this figure can only be achieved by everybody working together to produce a complete Orthotic service, on behalf of Essex Orthopaedics I would like to thank everybody involved in our service and thank you for your continual support in achieving this figure.
